Original newspapers from The Sun
The Sun was first published as a broadsheet on 15th September 1964 to replace the Daily Herald, but unfortunately it didn’t do as well as expected so on 15th November 1969, the newspaper was bought by Rupert Murdoch, who re-launched the Sun in a tabloid format. He also installed the Sun as the sister paper to the News of the World.
